Our Sessions
Little steps Preschool offers term-time only sessions.
Children can attend any combination of sessions, subject to places being available and your funding entitlement
However, any additional sessions required can be paid for separately including our early bird session.
Children attending an afternoon session, please bring a healthy packed lunch in a named lunch bag. We ask that the children do not include any fizzy drinks or sweets and we encourage the use of frozen ice-packs within the lunch boxes as we have no facilities for storing chilled food.
For the safety and wellbeing of all our children we ask that parents respect our Nut Free policy and do not bring any nuts into the preschool.

School Term & Holidays
The latest School Term and Holiday Dates are available from Leicestershire County Council. We do not always follow the school's teacher training days as the link suggests. Please note that Little Steps Preschool will be closed for polling days and congregational funerals. We aim to give you at least one weeks' notice however this is not always possible.
Our Fees
Fees are currently £6 per hour payable monthly in advance. Electronic BACS transfer is preferred. Childcare vouchers are accepted. We are in receipt of Free Early Educational Entitlement (FEEE) funding for 2, 3 and 4 year-olds; but where funding is not received, normal fees will apply. Please look at the Childcare choices link to see what funding you are entitled too. Please note, fees are still due for children who are absent.There is an initial registration fee of £20 to contribute towards snacks for your child.
At Little Steps Preschool we use software called Tapestry to record and share your child's learning and development on a secure online platform. This allow families to log in and receive regular information about what their child has been learning whilst at
Preschool.
Parents are a child's first educators, so we encourage the sharing of information about what their child enjoys learning about whilst at home.
